FOOD DRIVE PROJECT
The Covid-19 lock down has left many of our people helpless. Using Motorcycles (Boda-Bodas), we therefore decided to respond by food drives. Here we tried to make packages of food and other basic needs to share with the families that were heavily affected.
We have used this season fruitfully to demonstrate the love of Christ which has resulted into winning souls to Christ and encouraged many families. We give Glory back to the creator who enables us to offer a smile of Hope to these people.
We appreciate you for supporting us and continuing to stand with us even in this hard trial moments.
We continue to thank God for enabling us to serve him even in this hard moment. We pray that God uses us in different ways to glorify his name.
The corona virus pandemic have hit our people of Mityana hard with some of the families of our sponsored children hardly get what to eat. We extended our food drive to these people and shared the promises of our lord to these families.
“Whoever has a bountiful eye will be blessed, for he shares his bread with the poor.” Proverbs 22:9 ESV

Food, Soap and sugar ready to be given out.
“Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’ Matthew 25:37-40 ESV
We have been able to feed 125 families including 20 families for pastors under training. The Covid food drive program has not only helped us build relationships but also restored hope for many.
One person said that “it has brought the full meaning of the lord’s prayer”. We are going to continue ministering to those vulnerable people as we pray for the pandemic to end.
“GOD IS NOT UNJUST, HE WILL NOT FORGET YOUR WORK AND THE LOVE YOU HAVE SHOWN HIM AS YOU HAVE HELPED HIS PEOPLE AND CONTINUE TO HELP THEM” HEBREWS 6:10
This scripture encourages us to continuously doing good to the people in need because we’re sure there is a reward for us in heaven.
